Doctor Godfrey is an honest, and kind practitioner. He is more about alleviating people from pain and giving you the time and attention you need not only for your treatment but also for you to understand what he's doing. He's all about the patient he won't keep you for extra sessions or give you treatments you don't need to make extra money. He took my back from debilitating pain to back to brand new in no time.

In fact, after a severe L4/L5 discs injury occurred 2 years ago, I utilized his vast experience to help me gather facts along with a surgeon's opinion on the injury. Yelp helped me to find Dr. Godfrey several years ago when I saw an awesome review of his place. I bookmarked it that day and the next time my wife had severe back pain I suggested she contact him. She's gone to him several times in the last year or so. Last week I was having some really bad lower back and leg pain so I called on a Friday morning asking (almost in tears) if they had any time available that day. They, much to my delight, took me at noon. Dr. Godfrey and his staff are super nice and he spent a good deal of time talking to me about my pain before laying a hand on me. He adjusted the heck out of my spine and neck and also applied heat and electro stimulation. Less than 24 hours later I was feeling well enough to go ahead with my weekend plans which included walking 7 or so miles in Manhattan. I went back for a follow up and again, awesome service. I had been going to a chiro office in town for many years but as the years went on, the doctors dwindled to just one (the bad one) so I'm grateful to have found Dr. Godfrey. I'd give him 10 stars if I could.

I have been going to Mark several times over the past three years. He's treated me for a variety of orthopedic and skeletal muscular issues, some related to others. In every case I have been seen promptly and professionally, and addressed in a friendly and appropriate manner. Mark listens carefully to the issues I identify as problem areas, asks pointed and relevant questions and explores the situation as described and observed. He shares his observations and the plan of action.

I highly recommend Dr. Godfrey! Very friendly and gets the job done. I've been going to him about six months and he has been so informative on my back issues. He is usually available throughout the week for an adjustment, which is great. Dr. Godfrey only makes you come in when it's needed, he's not a doctor that's just looking to take your money. I can tell he's truly in the field because he enjoys it. Once again, highly recommended!

I can't recommend this practice highly enough! I found them via Yelp and called randomly looking to get an appointment asap to try and get some relief in late pregnancy. The staff were all exceedingly friendly and helpful and I was able to be seen immediately. The doctor was great and professional. If I ever need chiropractic adjustment in the future, I will not hesitate to go here again!

I am giving Dr. Godfrey 5 Stars because the man has earned it! Like most folks, I sit behind a computer for many hours. For ten years, I have had a nagging tension on my back and have visited at least six chiropractors with ranging success. While most chiropractors are good at what they do, today was my first visit with Dr. Godfrey and he was great! Dr. Godfrey was extremely thorough, listened to my issue, asked me about my prior chiropractic sessions, and I told him what has provided me with the best temporary relief has been hot stone messages. Immediately, Dr. Godfrey explained to me why I had my ongoing issues, adjusted my neck, shoulders, and back in more creative ways than any other prior chiropractor and I walked out feeling amazing. Even as I type this review, I am impressed by how thorough this man was with this treatment. I shared my joy with my wife and she will make an appointment to see him too. If you live in the Hartford metro area and need a great Chiropractor, Dr. Godfrey is the man for you!

On my first visit it took Dr. Godfrey about 60 seconds to pinpoint the epicenter of the back pain that had been bothering me for years. I've been going back ever since, including after a pretty serious car accident. I've recommended him to everyone I know who needs a chiropractor, and wouldn't think of seeing any one else for my pain. He knows what he's doing. Bonus to that is he's a very friendly and pleasant doctor, which is not always the case!

Friendly but very professional. Really knows his stuff and was amazing enough to see me as a new patient ASAP. He his a life saver that gave me immediate relief from neck tension from going to Six Flags this weekend. Very knowledgeable in chiropractic technique and nutrition. I am in the Hartford area from California to watch my daughter play softball at UH. Last month my daughter was in need of chiropractic care and she went to see Dr Mark Godfrey. He uses a different method than what our regular Dr uses but still effective and a great adjustment. Since visiting hotel beds are not great for my back so I called up the good Dr to see if he could get me in. He was very pleasant over the phone and said come on in. Once I arrived at his office he made you feel like family. I like baseball and softball and turns out Dr Mark is a former Ball player himself in the Red Sox organization. He took the extra time to really evaluate me and hear my concerns yes his method was different than what I usually get but it worked well. Told him I would follow up in a few days for another one which I did. Very friendly when I arrived seems like we knew each other for years and we just met 2 days prior. Another problem developed since the last visit and he took the extra time and did different muscle therapies and ultrasound treatment to make it feel good again. So if your in need of a good chiropractor in the Hartford area this is a good one to go to. I have been going to chiropractors for over 20 years now and if I am in town or someone ask for my opinion I will definitely recommend Dr Mark.
